Sumner County Schools is committed to nurturing learners who are ready for college and career success through high-quality instruction, efficient resource use, collaborative culture, and robust leadership.

The Patricia Brown Virtual Academy, offered by Sumner County Schools, provides an alternative pathway to graduation, with coursework facilitated through the Imagine Learning Platform by district-funded, State of Tennessee-certified teachers.

Our PBVA teachers support students in a virtual asynchronous learning environment, promoting mastery learning. The curriculum aligns with Sumner County Schools’ instructional goals and academic standards as set by the TDOE. PBVA aims to break down barriers and create opportunities through technology-driven education outside the traditional classroom.
